Respect and be Respected
Parents, siblings , relatives, friends, boy friend, girlfriend, step father, step mother, employees, employers, all need to be respected.
In many different walks of life, we will meet hundreds of people. Not every person is going to be exited to meet you, but there are many people who would love to meet new people. So whenever you get that opportunity , show some respect. Walk up and say “hi”, or give him or her a handshake, Give a head nod or even a simple wave of your hand. Anything could make or brake someone, so build up a relation ship on respecting each other.
Start off by asking the person how they feel. Also, giving someone a smile is like giving them another since of hope. A since that not everyone in this world is rude. After talking to them you could listen to them or share common interest but , just by respecting that person , you’ve made a new friend.
At the beginning of my junior year I was new to Gahanna Lincoln. I didn’t know anyone and I was seeing who was like me and anyone else care I didn’t care about. As I walked to 1rst period everyday I saw this huge kid that had a track and field jacket on. I knew he had to be a thrower. But because he did look nice and didn’t talk to me at all I just said forget him. Later on that year track season came around, and he ended up being one of my best friends. His name was Russell kittle. He ended up telling me he had the same thoughts.
“who the heck is this kid with crazy hair , listening to screamo”
But because we were wouldn’t just say hello , we could have been friends earlier. And like I said, not everyone is going to be respectful to you, just don’t be rude back. You take the first step in a relations ship and meet some one, listen to your parents, be nice to your siblings, and also respect your self. If your respect yourself then you can respect others.
